MDA Labor Day Telethon

Hi guys! Or really, anyone who reads this.   In todays news, I'm writing a book with my husband, it's awesome.

In other news
I was on the MDA Labor Day Telethon this past Sunday the 4th and man was I exhausted!  Check out this picture my sister-in-law snapped off her TV (she's so rad!)

That's me on the left in the blue top smiling away!

I have been working with the Muscular Dystrophy Association since this year 2011, and I have been enjoying EVERY minute of it!  My father passed away from ALS otherwise more commonly known as Lou Gehrig's Disease, and the MDA does what it can to support research for ALS and Augie's Quest (Augie Nieto, suffering from ALS).  It is my honor to do everything I can to Make a Difference and see to it that there is a cure found for ALS, for every person who has, had and will have ALS, all the families and most of all for my dad; I only wish he was here to see me working for the MDA, a cause to find a cure to beat out was killed him.  I love my dad and I will do everything in my power to make him proud and help find a cure!

About the Telethon:
I was on my feet the entire time the telethon aired, talking to our volunteers at the phone bank, hanging out TV news casters and radio personalities.  It was fun and flew by!  I was truly surprised on how fast the night passed us by.  the good news is, the MDA made more money this year in 2011 withOUT Jerry Lewis then the previous year, with him.  It was nice also that the telethon was only 6 hours this year, instead of the preceding years of a 22 hour telethon!

Thank you to all who watched the telethon and donated to help us all find a cure to the many neuromuscular diseases that haunt our youth and adults!  And thank you to our lovely hosts in Hollywood!  Let's "Make a Muscle; Make a Difference"
