I Sprinted!

On Tuesday, July 10th for the first time since I could remember I sprinted!  Meaning:  I ran a short distance very fast.  I have never been much of a runner, really though I was never a runner.

In March of this year I became an investor or what they call a Founding Fifteen Member of Chalk Fitness.  Chalk Fitness is an independently owned gym in Placentia, California that geared toward "less fat, more muscle"  It's group fitness with a personal touch!  I have been working out very committedy 2 - 3 times per week doing rigorous cardio and weight lifting with Kettle Bells.

I slowly have been getting better at running, no longer gasping for air or getting tired; but by no means do I run..I jog!  On Tuesday, as part of our "over time" work out, we did six 12meter sprints!!  I was surprised when I pushed myself just enough and guess what???? I SPRINTED!!  wha wha wha!?!?!?!


Goal:  5k!  One day, one day I'll get there!
